| l）表面的花纹色调不美观作为装饰用石雕，人们主要看重的还是其加工后表面的装饰效果。 (l) The color of the surface pattern is not beautiful as a decorative stone carving, people mainly value the decorative effect of the surface after processing. （2）理化性能指标差，用于装饰的石雕，常常以其装饰性能（即石雕表面的颜色花纹、光泽度和外观质量等）来作为选材的要求，但评价石雕质量时，除考虑装饰性能外，还应考虑其它质量指标，如抗压强度、抗折强度、耐久性、抗冻性、耐磨性、硬度等。 (2) The physical and chemical properties of stone carvings used for decoration are poor, and their decorative properties (i.e. the color pattern, gloss and appearance quality of stone carvings) are often used as material selection requirements. However, in evaluating the quality of stone carvings, besides decorative properties, other quality indexes should be considered, such as compressive strength, flexural strength, durability, freezing resistance, wear resistance, hardness, etc. （3）规格尺寸的偏差太大。装饰用石雕狮子都是被加工成板材使用的。施工时都采用拼铺（用于地面时）或拼贴（用于墙面时）的方法进行的。为保证装饰面平整、接缝整齐，国家标准规定了板材的长度、宽度、厚度的偏差以及板材表面平整度、正面与侧面角度的极限公差。 (3) The deviation of specifications and sizes is too large. In order to ensure the decorative surface smoothness and seam tidiness, the national standard stipulates the deviation of the length, width and thickness of the plate, and the limit tolerance of the surface smoothness and the angle between the front and the side of the plate. （4）加工后板材的外观质量差。天然石雕的表面特色是经过切割、锯切、研磨、抛光等工序后显现出来的。在加工过程中会在石雕表面外观上留下一些缺陷，若这些外观缺陷超出了国家标准规定的范围，石雕即为不合格品。用这些外观质量差的劣次板材进行饰面装饰，其整体装饰效果不会令人满意的。所以在判定石雕质量时，建议除考虑花纹色泽外，还必须检查其外观质量。 (4) The appearance quality of the processed sheet is poor.
