传统雕刻即以手工的方式运用刀、斧等工具在木材、石材等基料上进行艺术创作。现代雕刻根据工具和方法的不同可分为化学蚀刻、电蚀刻、手工雕刻、激光雕刻、标记雕刻、机械雕刻、辊模雕刻等。
